IMPORTANT! Traffic Scoping Meeting April 27th 2006!

by Hawke Robinson last modified Jul 26, 2016 05:43 PM
Don't miss this critical meeting!

This affects ALL residents of the greater Five Mile area.

This is a public meeting, setup by Harley Douglass and his engineers for his proposed Redstone plat development near North Five Mile Road and Waikiki Road.

Representatives from County Engineering will also be present.

Residents may also want to try to get the County Commissioner(s) involved as well. The Commissioner that was at the April 19th meeting, was shown on the map how serious a safety issue the current road addition to North Five Mile will exacerbate, but he also indicated he hadn't been aware of it all. It would help immensely between now and then to have County (and this can affect city side as well) residents call the commissioner(s) to ask at least one (if not more) of them be at this meeting so they can be made aware of how dangerous the current plan is.

This is the Five Mile Community Residents opportunity to register our grave concerns about the proposal to feed traffic from this new development proposal via a dangerous non/low line of site location and add additional traffic in a completely unsafe manner onto an already inadequate, uncontrolled, and dangerous intersection.

Please mark your calendars now!

Date: Thursday, April 27th, at 6:30 pm.
Location: Brentwood School Cafeteria
406 West Regina

We urge everyone to attend this important meeting!

This may be our best chance to be heard on these traffic issues.

The stronger the showing, the better our chances of being heard, and making a difference.
