Based on Therapeutic Recreation methodologies, RPG Therapeutics LLC provides research, education, entertainment, training, and therapeutic services, providing "RPG Therapy" and "RPG Education", and utilizing music, therapeutic recreation, and role-playing games in all formats: tabletop, live-action, solo, and computer-based. We especially try to help those people with special needs, and those residing in under-served and un-served locations, using our wheelchair friendly mobile facility.

There are currently 3 major branches of the efforts related to the RPG Therapeutics LLC business, plus plans for a 4th related entity.

RPG Therapeutics LLC (http://rpgtherapy.com) is a for-profit organization, that also provides free charitable services to those most in need. A service provider of Recreation Therapy, Music Therapy, and RPG-based educational ( "RPG Therapy" ) and therapeutic ("RPG Therapy") services. Our headquarters is based in Spokane, Washington. We provide services locally, regionally, nationally, internationally, through in-person, online/remote, and mobile facility venues. Beginning with RPG education programs for "gifted & talented children" in 1985, and therapeutic RPG programs since 2004, including RPG-based programs for ASD/PDD, ADHD, at-risk youth, brain injury (stroke, TBI, etc.), SCI, CP, substance program transitions, and many other populations. We especially target providing services to those people living in under-served and un-served regions.

The RPG Research Project (http://rpgresearch.com) is the not-for-profit international community-based research service, studying the effects of role-playing games in all formats, and their potential uses to achieve therapeutic and educational goals. The first threads of research for the project founder began in 1985, and the public repository of research information has been available online since 2004.

The Wheelchair Friendly RPG Trailer (http://rpgtrailer.com) and the Wheelchair Accessible RPG Bus (http://rpgbus.com), are mobile facilities to enhance the delivery of services provided by RPG Therapeutics LLC, and broaden the reach of research for The RPG Research Project. The trailer provides both for-profit, and pro-bono services to organizations and individuals throughout North America, especially in locations that may be un-served or under-served in receiving related educational and therapeutic services. Over time as trainers and facilitators are developed, services will be provided throughout North America, and the possibility of a fleet of regional mobile facilities, or franchising, or other expansion options may be possible.

The RPG Fund (working title, own domain http://rpgfund.org), is a proposed 4th branch of the RPG Therapeutics vision, may be a 501(c)(3) public charity, private foundation, or private operating foundation. The goal of the RPG Foundation is to accept donations that will be used to fund programs furthering research and applied programs that further the understanding and use of role-playing games, especially their uses in achieving therapeutic and/or educational goals for participants from all populations, but especially populations with special needs. Funds may also be used to help encourage providing services to people that cannot normally receive insurance, or personally afford to pay, for services that use role-playing games to help them still receive the RPG related services for them to achieve their educational or therapeutic goals.

RPG Therapeutics relies on a combination of full-time, part-time, and volunteer staff to achieve this wide range of goals. Here is more information about staff and volunteers:  http://rpgtherapeutics.com/about/staff
