The Goal: Build a wheelchair friendly mobile facility providing educational and therapeutic-based services currently only provided in Spokane, to expand delivery of these services throughout the Northwest and the rest of North America. These services include using all forms of role-playing games (tabletop, live-action, guided choose-your-own-adventure/solo, and computer-based) helping people with special needs benefit in many ways. Special populations include: at-risk youth, Autism spectrum (ASD / PDD), brain injury recovery, the Deaf, and many others.
Question: "You're solving the problem of getting to a table?
Aren't there plenty of other solutions to this problem?"
Short Answer: "Yes it is possible to provide these educational & therapeutic services by other means at a much higher cost and in far less ideal/safe/nurturing/accessible/equipped environments, as I have been doing for years, free of charge to participants, making the best of frequently inadequate facilities at game stores, rehab centers, senior care centers, community centers, colleges, libraries, etc.
The trailer will make provisioning of these services far more efficient, affordable, safer, and more effective, for a broader range of people, across a much wider geographic scope, than can be accomplished without the trailer.
Longer Answer: I provide RPG services for tabletop RPG, live-action role-play (LARP), & computer-based RPGs, not just tabletops. If you wish to know those details, see the videos, documents, and the other sections of this site, and/or see the FAQs detailing all the reasons regarding environment, safety, accessibility, availability, transportation, etc."
